Does my boat come with a cover?

Accepted Answer

Surfski: Only AIR & SCS layup boats include a boat cover in the price. We offer a discount on boat covers for WWR layups, when ordered with your new surfski order.

Kayak / Canoe: FC, SCS & E layup includes a cover, all other constructions it can be added on (we offer a discount on covers ordered with boats).

Rowing: Yes

What does my new surfski come with?

Our stock surfski’s come with a full carbon footrest and adjustable neoprene pull strap. The surfski will have side handles on both sides of the cockpit, a carbon wave deflector and a surf rudder.

If you would like to add a cover to your order, we have those available in a brightly colored stretchy sock style, that has a padded nose for your surfski's protection. If you would like a different footstrap (hard bar) we can install that for you prior to shipping / collection.

On a pre-order surfski you can order your surfski to your specifications and color design choice. You can also request to add , as well as add front and back handles.

What can I expect in the custom order process?

The first step is to fill out an order form From there a member of our team will reach out to set up your invoice. We use QuickBooks software, please be on the lookout for your invoice. We require a 50% deposit up front, and the final payment is due when the boat leaves our factory in Portugal.

Once your deposit is paid, and we have your design, we will place your order on our next available shipment.

Once the shipment has arrived, local pickup is free from our warehouses. We require local pick-up within one week of the container arrival. If you need extra time to come and pick up your boat, we can arrange storage at our facility - please reach out for pricing. If you need shipping, we will work with you to find a shipper. The shippers we work with tend to have very large trailers, making house deliveries problematic. They can meet at a central pick up point near a major highway. You will more than likely need to be able to car-top your boat from the pick-up point.

Do you ship?

We work with shippers that can carry fragile, composite racing craft, and can deliver to central drop-off points. Due to the size of the trailers our shippers use, house drop-offs are not possible. You will need to meet the shipper at a central pick-up point near the highway, and will therefore need to be able to car-top your new boat. In some instances, we can work around this, but it's on a case-by-case basis.

Can I pick up my boat locally?

Sure, contact us to arrange a time to pick up your new boat. Our warehouse is in Carson, WA. We do have cost saving local delivery options too.

Yes, we periodically have used boats for sake.

Can I Buy Extra's And Accessories For My Boat?

Yes, we keep all Nelo spare parts, as well as other paddling accessories in stock. We also offer free shipping on all shop orders. Please see our online shop HERE.

What does my new kayak come with?

Accepted Answer

Our stock kayak’s come with a full carbon footrest and adjustable neoprene pull strap. This can be changed to a different pull bar if needed, or a double neoprene strap. The kayak has a standard carbon seat, unless otherwise mentioned. Again, we can switch this out for a different seat type.

Boat covers can be purchased to be shipped with your kayak (and any other accessories - spray skirt, paddle etc.)

I want a simple design on my new boat - is that possible?
